Ezekiel Solesi, Founder and CEO of LIMBSimple is forging a path in entrepreneurship that doesn’t rely on hype or shortcuts. Instead, he is driven by timeless principles, radical trust, and a commitment to growth through service. In an exclusive conversation, Solesi shared the deep philosophies that guide his journey, offering a counter-narrative to today’s fast-paced, convenience-driven entrepreneurial culture.
“Success is a very difficult thing,” he began. “When you fail, you’re sure there’s something you don’t know. But when you succeed, you start to assume you know something and that’s the problem.” This level of self-awareness forms the foundation of the LIMBSimple brand, which stands for Life, Investing, Money, and Business made simple. More than a business advisory platform, LIMBSimple is a reflection of Solesi’s life-long mission to demystify success through values-based leadership.

Long before LIMBSimple became a recognizable force, Solesi was laying the groundwork with lessons drawn from mentors like Jim Rohn and Mike Murdock. These teachings instilled in him a results-oriented mindset, rooted in service. “Jim Rohn said every man’s income is a reflection of his philosophy. That’s not motivational fluff,” he explained. “And Mike Murdock taught me that what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. That changed everything for me.”
For Solesi, entrepreneurship is not a ticket to freedom, it’s a battlefield. He is quick to debunk the myth that running a business is an escape from hard work. “In a job, you get paid every 30 days. In business, you might not get paid for years. You’re the accountant, the marketer, the cleaner. It’s tough,” he said. “But that’s exactly why I encourage founders to choose the hard things. It’s the only way to rise above the noise.”
At the heart of Solesi’s leadership philosophy is a firm belief in trust and contribution. “If someone in your organization isn’t making you money, saving you money, or improving your brand, they don’t have a job,” he stated firmly. Yet, he chooses to lead with what he calls the “5.0 GPA principle”: starting everyone off with trust. “When I meet someone, I start at 5.0. I believe in them until they show me otherwise. There are only 10 bad people in the world, they just move around a lot.”
This uncommon optimism guides how he hires, partners, and leads. “If there’s no data against someone, I engage from a place of belief. But if they’ve shown dishonesty, that’s a different conversation. It’s not judgment, it’s wisdom.”
Solesi is a long-term thinker in every sense. He speaks of “short-term generosity and long-term greed”, not selfishness, but a patient, deliberate approach to wealth and impact. “Treat your staff and clients well now. Overdeliver. Be generous. You may be underpaid today but if you keep sowing into people and value, you’ll be overpaid tomorrow.”
Referencing the Dangote Refinery, he applauded the $18.5 billion investment made long before profit arrived. “That’s the mindset. Lay the groundwork. Delay gratification. Think 10, 15, 20 years ahead.”
It’s all tied to what he calls the God factor, the belief that purpose-driven business attracts divine favor. “When you serve people deeply, when your business uplifts families and communities, God begins to funnel the best ideas and people to you. You become a steward of something bigger than profit.”
His favorite quote from Jim Rohn sums it up: “Don’t wish it were easier; wish you were better.” For Solesi, the path to excellence lies in daily improvement even if it’s just 20 minutes on YouTube. “The only shortcut that exists is personal growth. Search for anything, business, delegation, strategy. Learn something new and apply it. That’s how you grow.”
Through LIMBSimple, Solesi continues to help thousands of entrepreneurs and professionals navigate the complexities of business with clarity, courage, and consistency. And at the core of it all is an unwavering belief, in people, in process, and in purpose.

“Assume the best. Let actions shape trust, not fear. In a world growing more cynical by the day, choosing to believe might be the most revolutionary act of all.”
