“With You for Life”: Jaiz Bank Launches New Identity, Reaffirms Ethical Banking Commitment

Nearly fourteen years after pioneering Non-Interest (Islamic) Banking in Nigeria, Jaiz Bank has turned a new chapter in its journey with the unveiling of a refreshed corporate identity. The event, held with much anticipation, marked not just a cosmetic change but a bold statement of intent about the institution’s future.

For Jaiz Bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Haruna Musa, Ph.D., who assumed office in November 2023, the unveiling was both historic and personal. Meeting many members of the media for the first time, he acknowledged their role in amplifying Jaiz Bank’s story and impact, pledging to deepen the partnership as the bank ushers in this new era.

The rebrand introduces a modern look anchored on a new logo, vibrant colour palette, and the payoff line, “With You for Life.” The familiar green and gold that had long defined Jaiz Bank’s presence are now replaced with deep blue for trust and stability, yellow for optimism and innovation, and grey for balance and sophistication. Yet beneath this transformation lies a consistent foundation: the ethical, Shariah-compliant values that remain the hallmark of Jaiz Bank.

In unveiling the new identity, the bank underscored its vision to deliver transparent, inclusive, and impact-driven banking. The move comes at a time when customers are demanding more from financial institutions, not just products and services, but fairness, transparency, and social responsibility. For Jaiz Bank, the refreshed identity is a deliberate response to that shift.

“Our promise is simple: to stand with our customers at every stage of their journey, today, tomorrow, and for generations to come,” Dr. Musa said.

The unveiling also offered a moment to reflect on Jaiz Bank’s growing influence in global Islamic finance. In recent years, the bank has earned international recognition, including the Quality Choice Prize 2025 for ethics and quality management, Most Promising Islamic Bank 2024 at the Global Islamic Finance Awards, and recognition as the Strongest Islamic Retail Bank in Nigeria by Cambridge IFA. It has also been celebrated as the Best Islamic Bank in West Africa and Nigeria by international finance publications and, notably, ranked 12th among the Top 100 Strongest Islamic Banks Globally by The Asian Banker—placing it ahead of institutions such as IBBL Bangladesh and HSBC Amanah Malaysia.

“These awards are not just accolades; they are affirmations of the trust our customers and stakeholders have placed in us,” Dr. Musa remarked.

Beyond the new logo and colours, Jaiz Bank’s message was clear: the rebrand reflects its ambition to modernise, innovate, and expand while staying true to its roots. With a renewed sense of purpose, the bank reaffirmed its mission to redefine ethical banking in Africa and strengthen Nigeria’s position on the global stage.

As the event drew to a close, one sentiment rang loudest—Jaiz Bank is not just changing its look, but reimagining its role in shaping the future of banking, standing firmly by its promise: With You for Life.
