Set at 8 Wole Olateju Street, the lounge offers more than just nightlife energy. Uthy explained that UNDA is a passion project, born out of years spent working in entertainment and a desire to create a space where hospitality and artistry meet. The ambiance, tropical, laid-back, and picturesque, is meant to transport visitors into a Caribbean-style playground.
UNDA’s concept is built around accessibility and community. Uthy emphasizes affordability, aiming for the lounge to be open and welcoming, not exclusive. On the menu is a seafood-focused selection tying into the name UNDA, which evokes underwater life.
The lounge also features live music sessions, listening parties, art showcases, and social gatherings, and houses an art gallery adding a cultural dimension to the experience.
More than just a hangout spot, UNDA represents a fresh chapter in Lagos’ evolving social scene. With Uthy Grind’s background in entertainment and a vision rooted in inclusivity and comfort, the lounge is positioned to attract a mix of nightlife lovers, from party-goers to art admirers, food lovers to music fans.
