The Daystar Career Development Program (DCDP) has unveiled a high-impact career development event aimed at equipping young professionals and emerging leaders with practical insights on how to grow from entry-level roles to executive leadership.

The event, themed “From Entry-Level to Executive: Insights on Growth and Development,” will bring together respected corporate leaders to share real-life experiences, strategies, and lessons that can help participants navigate the complexities of career progression in today’s competitive workplace.

Speaking on the expected impact of the programme, the Coordinator of the Daystar Career Development Program (DCDP), Shina Matti, explained that the initiative is designed to give participants a clearer pathway for career growth while strengthening their leadership capacity.

According to Matti, the programme will provide participants with practical tools and insights that can help them accelerate their professional journeys, make better career decisions, and build the resilience required to thrive in corporate environments.

He noted that participants will gain valuable exposure to the experiences of seasoned industry leaders, enabling them to learn firsthand how successful professionals navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and build sustainable careers.

Matti added that the event will also offer opportunities for meaningful engagement and networking with senior executives and decision-makers, creating avenues for mentorship, collaboration, and long-term professional relationships.

“Participants will leave the session with practical insights on career growth, stronger leadership capabilities, and valuable connections that can open doors to new opportunities,” he said.

The hybrid event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Stella Hall, Annex 2B, Ikosi Road, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, with both physical and virtual participation options available for attendees.

Industry leaders expected to share insights at the session include C-suite lears that include Godrey Ogbechie, Group Executive Director at Rainoil Limited, and Tobi Adeniyi, Managing Director, Unilever Nigeria.
