Rainoil Announces Emmanuel Omuojine as New MD

Rainoil Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Emmanuel Omuojine as its new Managing Director, marking a significant leadership transition as the company positions itself for continued growth, innovation, and operational excellence within Nigeria’s energy sector.

Omuojine’s appointment reflects Rainoil’s confidence in a seasoned executive whose career spans strategic management, corporate governance, business transformation, and operational leadership. He brings to the role a wealth of experience gained across the consulting, financial, and energy sectors.

A highly accomplished professional, Omuojine holds certifications as a Strategic Management Professional, Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI), a Six Sigma Green Belt, and is a Chartered Accountant. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Estate Management from the University of Lagos.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Rainoil Limited, Omuojine served as the Managing Director of Rainoil Gas Limited, one of the key entities within the Rainoil Group. He also serves on the Board of Rainoil Limited, where he has contributed significantly to the company’s strategic direction and governance.

His journey with Rainoil began on August 1, 2014, when he joined the organization as Group Head, Strategy. In that role, he was responsible for shaping the company’s corporate strategy, overseeing business processes and controls, and managing major capital projects. His strategic leadership and contributions to the company’s growth earned him an appointment as Executive Director in January 2022.

Over the years, Omuojine has played a pivotal role in helping transform Rainoil into one of Nigeria’s leading downstream energy companies. His work has been instrumental in driving organizational excellence, strengthening governance frameworks, and positioning the Group for sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive industry.

Before joining Rainoil, Omuojine spent nine years at PwC Nigeria, where he rose to the position of Manager in the Strategy & Operations Advisory Practice. During his tenure, he advised clients across the Oil and Gas, Financial Services, and Telecommunications sectors, delivering projects focused on business process transformation, strategy development and review, organizational design, and operational improvement initiatives for both private and public sector institutions.

Industry observers believe his combination of consulting expertise, strategic leadership, and deep understanding of the energy sector makes him well-positioned to lead Rainoil through its next phase of expansion and transformation.

As Managing Director, Omuojine is expected to focus on accelerating business growth, enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening corporate governance, and driving innovation across the company’s operations.
