Khaby Lame, the world’s most-followed TikTok creator, has taken a decisive step from digital stardom into large-scale business ownership with the partial sale of his company, Step Distinctive Limited, in a transaction valued at approximately $900 million.

The deal ranks among the largest commercialisation transactions ever involving a global content creator and signals a growing shift in how digital influence is being converted into structured, long-term enterprise value.

The transaction was disclosed by Rich Sparkle Holdings, a U.S.-listed company, which announced the completion of its acquisition alongside a strategic partnership centered on Khaby Lame’s commercial operations. Under the agreement, Rich Sparkle, through its operating partners, will hold exclusive rights to manage and scale Khaby Lame’s global commercial business for an initial 36-month period.

Step Distinctive Limited serves as the primary vehicle for Khaby Lame’s business interests, overseeing brand partnerships, endorsements, and emerging e-commerce initiatives tied to his global audience. The partnership is designed to transition his brand from fragmented sponsorship deals into a centralized, platform-driven commercial model.

As part of the transaction, Khaby Lame will become a controlling shareholder in Rich Sparkle Holdings, marking a strategic evolution from influencer-led campaigns to equity-backed ownership. The move positions him not just as the face of a brand, but as a principal stakeholder in a publicly listed enterprise with global ambitions.

Rich Sparkle estimates that the integrated model combining traffic, operations, fulfilment, and technology could generate more than $4 billion in annual sales once fully deployed. The strategy aims to merge Khaby Lame’s global reach with industrial-scale e-commerce infrastructure, creating a repeatable and defensible revenue engine.

The commercial rollout will initially target the United States, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, with execution expected over the next three years. The project will be delivered in partnership with Anhui Xiaoheiyang Network Technology Co. Ltd., a China-based content commerce operator with experience in large-scale digital retail operations.

Born in Senegal and raised in Italy, Khaby Lame rose to global prominence through silent, minimalist videos that humorously exposed overcomplicated life hacks. His content’s simplicity, combined with visual storytelling that transcends language, allowed him to scale across cultures at an unprecedented pace.
Today, Khaby Lame commands a combined following of more than 360 million across digital platforms, making him one of the most influential content creators in the world. His journey from factory worker to global digital icon has become a case study in how authenticity and consistency can translate into global brand power.

Beyond e-commerce, the partnership includes plans for premium brand collaborations and co-branded intellectual property across sectors such as beauty, fragrance, and apparel. Khaby Lame has also authorised the development of an AI digital twin, enabling the controlled use of his likeness, voice patterns, and behavioral cues to support multilingual content production and virtual livestreaming.

According to Rich Sparkle, the acquisition represents more than an equity transaction. It reflects a broader transformation in the global content economy, where influence is no longer monetised solely through advertising but engineered into scalable, technology-enabled businesses.
