Sahel Consulting Agriculture and Nutrition Limited has approved plans to transition into a Group structure as part of a broader strategy to expand its advisory and consulting practice and deepen its impact across Africa’s food, agriculture, health and nutrition sectors.
The development was disclosed by Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli, Executive Chair at Sahel Consulting, who said the company’s Board approved the new Group structure after 16 years of work transforming Africa’s food and agriculture landscape.
According to Nwuneli, the new structure will strengthen Sahel Consulting’s core advisory and consulting business while creating room for new subsidiaries focused on health and nutrition, innovative ventures, implementation and impact.
She said the expansion would also enable the organisation to strengthen other institutions and organisations operating across the wider food and agriculture ecosystem.
Nwuneli said she was excited to rejoin the Board as Executive Chair and support the leadership team in implementing the company’s new vision over the coming months.
She acknowledged the contributions of Sahel Consulting’s outgoing chairman, Mezuo Nwuneli, whose three-year tenure, she said, was marked by visionary leadership, passion and a strong commitment to excellence.
She also expressed appreciation to the company’s Board members, partners and team for their contributions to Sahel Consulting’s growth.
